Donations to NMT are exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act in India. NMT is also approved to receive donations from abroad under FCRA. The Trust is covered under the amendments made to Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013 vide notification dated Feb 27 2014 and is eligible for CSR funding.
